Prince George Colours Wood Palette Set

5 incredible earthly colours in a hinged and locking wooden palette.  This set also comes with samples of the local rocks they were made from… how cool is that?  Add water to the tops of these paints to reconstitute them and enjoy.

• Dove Grey – A light slate rock, exceptionally hard in nature but delivers the softest grey blue touch.
• Golden Land – A pigment loaded mudstone that yields a glowing ochre colour.
• Fossil – You guessed it, it actually came from an eroding fossil rock.  Experience a nice rich dark brown.
• Red Bluff – This intense red brown pigment comes from a rather unusual rock, looks like any other ordinary rock except its a red purple colour on the inside.  One of my favourites and a rare find indeed.
• Dark Shale – Another hard slate rock that while difficult to process provides the darkest natural grey near black of all our local pigments.
