Our paints are made with true high quality pigments and zero filler. Each pigment has its own special qualities and can be staining or not; granular or not. We love the traditional method of creating paints and combine professional natural bases untouched by metal to ensure the colours won’t change.
While we think honey is great in tea you won’t find it in our paints. Though it allows paint to form those perfect peaks in the pans it’s composition doesn’t permit the paint to drift nearly as far as our gum arabic based formula. Your paints make crack or come cracked, this is all part of the more natural paint processing.
We recommend our paints be partnered with 100% cotton watercolour papers for the best painting experience; such as Arches 140lb Cold Press, Stonehenge Aqua 140lb, and Fabriano Artistico.
Mix the pigments well in water to fully disperse the strong pigment loads.
